Here's how it works:
You send us your family vitae: your family tree; an E-mail address for
members of your family and friends; a Round Robin letter for your family;
a couple of recent or old pictures - whatever you'd like to be the first
entries in your private site.
Then, we'll create your personal family page to be hosted
free on WorldBrowse,
a page with a private access number which we will give to only you
(but which you may give to members of your clan, to friends,
or to anyone else you wish).**
You may choose to design your own page
with our convenient templates; or we will design your site for you
for one of the lowest rates on the World Wide Web - and there will be
only modest charges for future changes or additions (but that's how we
hope to make this plan pay for itself). Your page, or any additional
future pages, must remain non-commercial and free from obscene or
blatantly objectionable materials. (Items and pages can be refused
or terminated at our sole discretion.) Otherwise, the page will be
yours to use and enjoy.
** Privacy increasingly concerns us all. (See privacy issues.) Your family quest page can be quite private and secure, although, obviously not totally so - especially to the extent that the private access number is disseminated. Subscribers should realize that the best any provider can do is insure only limited privacy against hackers, credit agencies, the data industry, banks, mortgage companies, the CIA, the IRS or any other intrusive agents. Therefore, although we will not knowingly sell or transmit your private data to others, we advise you not to place anything of an ultra-sensitive nature on your site, and we disclaim any liability
in this regard. Still, within these constraints, your page can be a value and a delight for
your family and friends.
